Anyway, fatty has a point. Apparently the turnstiles were late opening which caused a massive build up outside. Club and police very unprepared.
Yes. Fancy that. They've got about 5 minutes and instead of asking them a question themselves, perhaps from an expert in the subject, they pander to some random dipshit who has tweeted in with no effort whatsoever.

Hate that whole dynamic. It's ridiculously trivial.

As he says, to create such a fever from it is disrespectful to the families and the actual issues surrounding Hillsborough.

We are deep in the midst of faux, recreational outrage. £#%&! it. It'll pass.

Don't know if it's the people who tweet their 'outrage'or the news outlets that report the outrage that I hate most.

Won't be long before anything anybody utters in public will be scripted just in case someone, somewhere is offended.

He's wrong to compare the two of course; last night was much more upsetting.

Regardless him being a Man Utd fan, he's not a stupid and this was not a slip of the tongue - it was calculated attack in an attempt to use his media presence to associate Hillsborough with hooliganism. How many people will be left with that impression, even sublimely?
