Decent squad option and selling others should be a priority.

You’d like to think he’d be behind Mata, Lingard and Pereira in the queue for the exit, at least..

Exactly. He's not brilliant, but he's a useful option. It basically between him and Matic for that 3rd midfield position so the likes of Lingard, Pereira and Mata, who barely feature, should be out the door first.

Strange, seemed it was widely recognised he'd saved his career with us prior to the season pausing. Now this is actually a realistic possibility?

He’s got squad potential. Needs to up his game dramatically again.

Don't see Ole allowing Fred to go on loan to Galatasaray

When Mata’s come on recently he’s still done a job. Whether it’s a job that justifies his salary is unlikely, but he can still do things and see things that Lingard and Pereira can only dream about.

Agree with that, you can see he & Bruno are on the same wavelength, which may have it's uses from time to time.

He can, I like him and he's a decent option in quite specific circumstances. But I wouldn't want him, Lingard, Pereira or James coming into the team and starting regularly if a forward got injured.
