Agreed, Witton got out of jail when we hit the post at the end there

Scrappy game I thought, Spencer was brilliant in goal for us. We were dogshit second half.

Pretty common knowledge, the 'no' campaigners are small in number and all known to the club by now.

it was a foul but the chance had already gone so a bit fortunate to be given it. We missed loads last season but Gards has been putting them away this summer. given the size of the keeper I don't know why he didn't slot it down the side, he'd never get down that quickly top save though.

Unless Utd fans spray-painted MCFC champions on the green shipping container I think it's probably a safe bet to assume it was blues

FA Cup first round qualifying on Sunday, vs. Cammell Laird.

Following yesterday's win against Salford City FC (lovely club, wonderful ground), we're in the hat for the third qualifying round in the FA cup draw tomorrow. If we're drawn at home, I think it will be a Sunday match, as Bury are at home to Swindon on Saturday 6th of October.

Not sure if the new FCUM Women's team have had a mention on here, yet? After the first four league matches, and four wins (10-0, 6-0, 7-1, 13-0), you'd think we'd be top with a GD of +35. It's not good enough in that league, as AFC Oldham are on +48 from 4 games! Manchester city are on +18, and they've only played two.

In today's 4 matches, three featured 13 goals or more. Bonkers league. http://full-time.thefa.com/Index.do?...league=1921716

That doesn't sound pleasant, I agree.

I love the ground, though. With it's snug bowl shape, it's like a great big fooball ground hug.
