Question Michael Carrick

Whats peoples opinion on him now?

I'll be honest. When he joined us I thought he was £#%&!, but as last season progressed I started to warm to the lad.

Problem is I think in the few games that he's played this season he's been piss poor and I honestly cant see him getting back into the side when he gets himself fit again.

Do you reckon he will be happy to be a squad player? I just cant see it myself

He's a fantastic passer of a ball who was settling right in by the end of last season and really looking top class. i've been disappointed with how he's played so far this season but expect him to come good again.

Great passer when on song but needs plenty of time.Cant cope with opposition clogging up midfield. No energy.

He was fantastic in that game but for me that was an exception rather than the norm so far.

another 'proper footballer'. Very good player.

Would he get into my first XI with everyone fit? Not so sure...

Carrick, or 'Michael' as I call him, is a great player.

Always rated him and he's welcome to marry my sister, any day.

Very clever player and one of the best passers of the ball in the game at the moment. 2 from Him, Anderson, Hargreaves and Scholes should be picked depending on who is performing the best at that moment in time/who the opposition is.

Why the negativity?

And he's hardly been piss poor as you put it in the games he has played. Not as good as last season but piss poor? No.

No negativity as such mate just cant see him getting back into the side again. I know its a £#%&!ing long season and hopefully we will be challenging in all 3 competitions and a big squad of great players is essential. I just cant see him being patient and sitting on the bench waiting for his chance.

I have hair, am about 4 stone heavier, about 6 inches shorter and am far less talented.

Other than that, we're peas in a pod.
