The defending Milan are going to set out to do in Barcelona will be something to behold. Usually games like that are boring, but there's a mesmerizing quality to their willingness to bunch around the top of their box.

Mesbah, Antonin, Bonera, Mexes....

Barca must be regressing quicker than I suspected if they can't batter that mediocre bunch of shit. But not quite Leverkusen level, eh, Tom Thumb?

Jesus, worst ever CL quarters.. look through each game individually. Heck , there's only been one outstanding team in Europe for the last 3 years, time to step shit up.

Was just about to post that.

Desperately trying to turn it into an FA Cup tie in 1978 between Ipswich Town and Southampton.

he's (presumably) just watched a masterclass from alessandro nesta, one of the best centre halves ever to play the game and he thinks he's paying him a compliment saying he's upped his game to terry butcheresque levels. JUST £#%&! OFF WILL YOU

Default I always think

Terry Butcher gets extra heroic brownie points thanks to his name.

Terry

Butcher

A proper hard man's name.

If he were called Lawrence Silk, Jeremy Badger or Toby Flowers he would never have had the same kudos.

very true - especially when coupled with the iconic image of him in his england shirt, bleeding half to death from a head wound, yet with a cheeky smile on his face.

definitely looks the part TBH. Could be a cockney Gangster in a Guy Ritchie flick...Terry 'The' Butcher.

Edit:

Eat your lionheart out John:
