Can't even confirm where I read it, but apparently it was written as a clause in his extension last summer.

One one hand, he's been a great servant, and this clause would invite all of Europes finest to bid.

On the other, Athletico could sell him for way more, and if he loves the club so much, why would he deny them ?

Tbh, if you have worries about Bent scoring, Torres record aint exactly stellar in this regard. Still I'd love us to sign him.

We need at least one ball winner in midfield preferably one that can pass the ball to a United palyer after he's won the ball as well

Richardson maybe should go but not just yet we need somebody on the left wing at times.

I prefer the United where the goals are shared throughout the team, than the United with a goal machine up front anyway.

If the next striker we get can get 15 goal per season minimum and adds genuine quality to the squad then it's all good.

Pure - It's weird, I get that feeling too, but still, I want him (and Fernandes) at United more than any one (erm two) player(s)

We are apparently after Quaglirella from what i've seen he looks a decent striker.

Nani looks very much like Eusebio...dead ringer the way he plays. Bobby Charlton thought the world of Eusebio and vice versa.

2. Keep Wes, O'Shea, Park and Smith as squad/bench players
3. sign Hargreaves.

5. bring back Rossi, Evans, Pique and Foster.

I think it's also more likely. I can't see us having the money for a back up winger, a top midfielder and a top striker. It will be a patch up job, which I'm not too bothered about as some of our younger players deserve a chance
