They should be after Rodgers.

I reckon they need someone who is “untouchable” as it will get worse before it gets better. Similar to our issue we had, loads of shit c***s, shift in mentality, and leaders needed.

If arteta did better with his money then there would have been argument for him to stay. But stuff like the Captain turning up late to training regularly, bin him off.

They’ll need an ex player I reckon even if it is to clear out the shite and get another manager in a year. Benitez would have been good for them if he hadn’t gone to Everton.

Brendan Rodgers too if it weren’t a step down for him

Can't believe some of the players who still get a game at Arsenal.

Four. Lovely finish from Rodri.

I think city are gonna be ok for goals this season, ya know.

I don't think city could have wished for two easier home games after the result against Spurs.

Shot of Aubameyang there. Bet he can’t believe he signed that new deal.

Yep. They’re bullies. They’ll bag six or seven here and then struggle to score in their next tough away game.

This is truly pathetic stuff from Arsenal though. No excuse for it. Arteta must be on borrowed time. They’re getting worse by the week.

State of that crowd at City

There’s more atmosphere and animation in the Arsenal end than among the home crowd
After the 2nd goal there was a shot of a young lad literally yawning

Did you see the view from behind Rodri?

Was a lovely finish with a nice curve.

City are strong - they pass it so well.

I did. Great angle.

City will be fine. As will Liverpool. Everyone getting very excited about us and especially Chelsea. I get why, but Liverpool and City have been doing it for years and there’s no reason to think they won’t this year if they keep everyone fit. City still the team to beat, I’d just like it to be more competitive.

I dont think we're seeing anything off them that we haven't seen in the last 4 years.

They'll absolutely pummel most of these teams who come to the etihad and aren't brave enough to ask questions of them. But we already knew that.

As you said, Arsenal and Norwich are the perfect opponents for them. Hapless sides that can’t do the basics and think they’re being brave without ever actually attacking.

I called them bullies because they’ll go for 5 or 6 where most teams will take 2 or 3 and close the game out.

Competing for the title. We know they can win it and we know they can get 96 points and not win it. We and Chelsea still need to prove that. Could well do it, but we go with what we know for now.

If I were Jeff Bezos I would buy Arsenal and install Keane for 12 months as manager and put it all on Amazon Prime.

He’d triple his investment and win an Oscar for Best Comedy.

Very true but it’s like seeing Sinatra sing My Way for the 100th time.

You know what you’re getting but still super effective.

As the good Dr says, 4 of the Super League Big Six (cringe) are looking good.
