Fergie was never a dour sour faced £#%&!er with the press was he 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. £#%&! me he banned some for months slaughtered them live on air didn’t speak to the beeb for 7 years .. it’s almost has if he never did anything out of order

Certain yorke didnt arrive till a few games in? And that we had a low key preseason then got spanked by an impressive looking arsenal side in the CS. Plus beckham was expected to be a bit of a melt in the face of all the abu wc hate. Actually went on to have his grwatest season for us

Only signed Carrick and the whole Wink/Rooney and Ronaldo bull shit. Chelsea looking dominant the season before too.

Yup, expectations were low that year, it was even possible to get away tickets regularly without knowing Pythagorean theorem to the last decimal place.

Would like to think this season will be a pleasant surprise but realistically it will be utter shit.

1995 is another one where nobody was expecting much - a couple of key players sold that summer and nobody of significance brought in........
