Ah well. He's done his job. At least the next manager is stuck with all the shit he bought.

The owners are obviously desperate for them to get back in the Champions League. With a bit of luck they'll fold after a couple more failures.

A shit sandwich of a day which would have been slightly better if Brendan had kept his job.

They need to poach Moyes from Sociedad. He is perfect for a midtable selling club like liverpool.

I just feel a lot more comfortable when they have someone fundamentally unlikeable in there.

I actual really like klopp. don't make me hate you, Jurgen.

They must be getting someone big. Don't think sacking Rodgers was the plan, even if their start was disastrous(its been bad but not disastrous looking at the table). Why keep him after the way last season ended, give him another £80m+ to spend, only to bin him in early Oct? Guessing they got the yes from someone avaliable only for a short period of time.

Sounness, Carragher and Henry discussing it now. Genuinely think Henry is borderline 'special', makes Merson sound like Einstein.

This - SAF in his pomp would struggle to turn things around there as things stand.

today would have been a right result if he hadnt been sacked

klopp will get it but they need to spend another 200m before they're any sort of threat
