Why take him off at half time in the first place though if you don't want to make it a public issue?

Not a chant all night, just clapped for Geoff Astle on the 11th minute and that's it
What is the point of WBA?

They were a big club once, not unlike their near neighbours Villa. Who are even more £#%&!ing annoying, though.

My point in the original post is that nobody playing for those managers would have had the neck to do something like that. Martinez doesn't appear to have his dressing room under control. Might not be a fair conclusion, but going on that...

Unlrelated, but remember when Forlan tried taking one when we were 4-0 up and he hadn't scored yet....and I think Keane and Van Nistelrooy took the ball off him and ruud banged it in instead

EDIT: Can't find that incident, but did find this from the same match:

Is it just me or is anyone else revelling in the blue bastards decline this season? Yes they beat us home and away but Martinez was a smug @#%&! in the media iirc going on about how they finished above us and we're the better side (suppose the table doesn't lie) so now he's taken them down to his level I'm happy. @#%&!.

Great to see tbh. They really are terrible for moaning, and their fans really don't get behind them in any way until they're winning.

As someone else has already posted, their next six games don't look too nice, a few wins for a couple of the teams below them and they could really have a nervy end to the season

I am right in thinking Baines is an absolute shithouse? Gary Lineker is moaning about how it was 'despicable team spirit' to take the penalty away from the usual taker, but shirley Baines should have just told him to £#%&! off?

No idea but I’m always happy to see someone put the boot into that overrated @#%&!. YHGR.

Where have all the mouthy Everton @#%&!s who infested this forum last season gone btw? Would absolutely love to send some abuse their way.

Agree. He even gave Mirallas a little friendly pat on the cheek before the penalty. As he was trying to talk to him, Mirallas wouldn't even look at him. Pretty clear who wears the pants in that relationship.

Looked like everyone was shit scared of Mirallas, Naismith and Lukaku wouldn't approach him and just mouthed at him from afar. Definitely the c**k of the club, in more than 1 sense.

I was only half listening but I think Gary Neville suggested that to do such a thing, to go against dressing room instructions, was 'worse than breaking a fellow players leg'. I actually think he was suggesting that it was worse than breaking the leg of a player from your own team.

Pretty sure I must have heard him incorrectly because surely....no one...would...surely say something so stupid? breaking someone's leg, your own team mate, deliberately presumably, is worse than demanding to take a penalty.

£#%&!ing hell Gary.

Yeah I did a bit of a double take at that

I think he meant get yourself sent off making a bad tackle and costing you're team points because of it
