That's a big blow.

He's an important member of the squad. Always adds a lot of drive & enthusiam to the midfield...particuarly in the bigger games.
He'll be a miss, especially with Anderson hitting a bit of an untidy spell.

Hopefully Hargreaves can show his 'England form' in a United shirt for the run-in.

If it's true it will be one of the major factors in us winning the title. Especially since we're out of the cup. There is not a single game I would want him to play in from now to the end of the season unless we win one of our champs league first legs 0-6.

Pity for the lad. He could have been very useful for the bigger games.

Fletcher is important to the squad. Fact.

Sometimes we need something more than a piece of individual brilliance to win a football match.
Sometimes we need the right attitude & commitment.
We need the likes of Park & Fletcher to press the opposition..to get the crowd going by putting in 100% effort.
You don't always get that from 'flair' players.

We seriously will miss Fletcher for the upcoming Arsenal game.
As I said, hopefully Hargreaves will re-discover a bit of form for United.

It's not just a question of a lack of flair

He's started 4 league games for us this season. I think we'll get by.

Could be a blessing in disguise when it comes to continuity in the first team. Scholes and Carrick should have had sufficient time out to let them play in most of the remaining games with Anderson and Hargreves stepping in if formation/form needs them. Just need to keep them 4 fit. Suppose Giggs/O'Shea could always play in the middle if required too. I trust Fletch against the big teams but when we play shit teams where we don't need a player who's basically there to annoy their midfield he is pretty useless. Hargreaves is better than Fletcher anyway so if he's fit we won't miss him at all.

They proved the could do it a couple of years ago and I see no reason why they couldn't do a job there. It's not like their games have gone a bit backwards since then is it?

Shame. Was a better option than Hargreaves for the big games at the moment imo. Hopefully he'll be back for any possible Champions League final though.

Fingers crossed Park will be struck down with a similar injury next....it'd be like running a virus scan on your PC...only like on a squad of footballers.

Park's a good little player.
He's just back after a serious injury....& we've won every game he's started since returning.
He isn't a 'first choice' player but he's a terrific option to have.
His attitude is great as well.
