Absolutely. We’ve almost forgotten what doing the basics look like. Work rate, concentration, putting a shift in. Martinez and Malacia has brought some real steel to that back line and it’s allowed Varane’s class to show through.

Don’t touch that back line until someone (Varane) gets injured.

Hopefully never see fat man shaw ever again. Thursday nights perhaps.

He can actually play football, which is a breath of fresh air after Shaw.

Cracker of a player. Looks very strong as well, rather than just fat.

There was loads of times today he was doing basic stuff that you just know Shaw wouldn't bother to do, he just keeps hassling and nipping away at whoever he comes up against, Shaw is so passive
