You sir, are £#%&!ed. Perhaps gouging is the more accurate term.

check out www.lufthansa.com for Heathrow to Milan, then take a train to Rome (£60). £101 return.

Depending on who gets through tonight will make a difference, if Barca get through there might be some cheap deals from London as a few Chavs may have booked early and will be looking to get some money back!

Its a 21 hour drive from the NW according to viaMichelin. Set off after work Monday, get there Tuesday pm.

Sleep in car, out all day for the final, set off Thurs morning back Friday.

Be £#%&!ed, but if it's my only option I've no choice. Not missing this one.

Sorted.

LGW to FCO on monday £65 (booked after the first leg for that one)

Just done the trip back.

FCO to MXP £85

MXP to LGW £100

not bad at all in the circumstances i think. weight off my mind that. now for the accomodation....

and also a trip up to manchester on a non match day to pick up the brief

Have a look at Flights to Pescara and then either the train/bus from Pescara to Rome which takes 2-3 hours.
This is the preferred, and usually cheapest, route for the Mrs relatives who live out there....

we're thinking of doing this, but with a minibus. we're just trying to sort out a volunteer for driving back as, surprisingly, nobody wants to do it
