Not really arsed about what he may or may not have said in the past. He was correct on this occasion, regardless of his motivation.

Maybe he doesn’t think the Glazers are bad?

On the subject of Rooney, he said he was on his way down in 2014.

He’s complained about the Glazers and rooney in the past

He was asked post game specifically about Pogba and made some good points...

It’s on here somewhere.....

Proved right and Jose has seen his arse...

The money comment ffs

you can't be loyal to united and be loyal to the owners and the manager. soz.

Scholesy has been in the game long enough to know Mourinho would respond. I'm sure Scholes, apart from doing his job, said it out of caring. If it was Liverpool or City, I doubt he'd care. He was critical during LvG's reign too

Likewise, it's only natural for Mourinho to defend his player...

In other words, water is wet

Jose is protecting his player .

He’s 100% right to do so .

Remember Fergie having a dig at pundits inc former united players in the past .

Scholes is still a shit boring pundit whether he’s right or wrong on pigs positioning .

I think most people would agree.

It's not clear what we're trying to do exactly, the first 11 doesn't pick itself and the players lack consistency.

utd will be relying on a general collapse of at least two of the top sides to mount a challenge for a top four spot. As for challenging for the title, of the par league maybe

Well, he trotted out "Giggs should have been given the job" again. Hard to take anybody who says that totally seriously, however valid their other points/criticisms.

Good interview with Scholesy. Agree with most of it tbh.

Scholesy getting under Jose's skin again; Mourhino never learns does he?

Paul Scholes is the ideal tabloid/TV pundit, the perfect Catchphrase contestant he "says what he sees"

There's a Gary Neville's soccerbox with Scholesy on that keeps popping up in gaps on the sky sports schedule, worth a watch if you can find it. Covers some of the same ground, predictably given the nature of the show it's looking back, but the mentality of the players we used to have comes across.
