Replace Young with Shaw and Smalling with a defender that is actually comfortable on the ball* and I'd be very happy with that.

*No Blind jokes, it's not big and it's not funny.

No chance of us playing any decent football today.

They’ll all buckle under the pressure and then look at each other for someone to do something

I never get the feeling this side is inspired, spurred-on or galvanised by anything tbh
They all look 3 sheets to the £#%&!ing wind.

We never see a reaction. It's always flat.
I'm not expecting anything different today sadly.

It’s a decent team on paper given the options available (although Young over Shaw is still baffling) but it’s how they play that worries me

Talent isn’t our problem but how that talent is used

Let’s hope we try to play football for once in a big game instead of hoofing it up the pitch

Jose really knows how to get the crowd going in these big matches
Can’t even get out of our own half

Chelsea just popping it about, no pressure. Crowd totally silent.

That’s how Mourinho likes it. He doesn’t want the ball he wants them to get comfortable and complacent and make mistakes.

Make us more solid centrally. It’s much harder to score from the wing. Also cut passing lines down the sides of the CB’s.
