I thought Evra played OK on Sunday, out of his normal position too.

Dunno what has gone wrong with Park, whatever else you say about him he has never come across as mentally weak. Which is more than can be said for the gormless Geordie, sadly

Evra had been playing shit, but there are signs of revival.

Carrick though I'm extremely discouraged by.

Jonny Evans, what the £#%&! happened there? This time last year Drogba didn't faze him, now he's getting monstered by the likes of Elmander.

Also Park was never quite this shit.

Carrick, I hope and pray the same but he's had some awful performances since coming back from injury. Could seriously do with him hitting some form but confidence generates more confidence and he looks to have £#%&! all atm.

Evans had a nightmare start to the season but age is very much on his side and he'll be fine. Hoping he gets a game tonight but think I read somewhere he's injured. Worry for him is Smalling takes his place and he ends up playing less this season than last.

Evra and Rooney are the obvious 2.

It was interesting to see Evra on the wing on Sunday with JOS behind him. Fergie obviously thinks that he needs to be played into form but didn't want to risk him again at full back.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him start there again against Spurs. When he gets back into form he can go back to full back (hopefully in time for City).

Agreed.

I'm starting to worry though, he has been predominantly poor for a fair stretch now.

Can't help but think he needs to be thrown in the team and left to play every game, until he finds some form/enjoyment again. He is integral to us, really. It's no surprise his downturn in form has coincided with us getting our worst finish in league and CL since his arrival and the subsequent poor form of the team in general.

What's most disturbing about this isn't any one of these being below their best at the moment, it's the general trend - that it's happened to a few of them all at the same time.

Maybe slightly balanced by Nani and Berbs turning out not to be gash after all, but even so.
