Gerrard aside, I knew as soon as I saw the thread that Zidane would have the most votes. Platini was more influential tho, as most who saw both of them will tell you. Or at least Serenity will.

If you read the Observer they made special mention of why Gerrard got in the team. Basically somebody nominated him and the comments went mental saying he should be nowhere near the list, which made a load of people vote for him just to piss everyone else off. basically the comment section going mad and £#%&!ing up the vote.
