Get the impression Madrid's performance very much depends on the opposition and circumstance, the bigger the game and the better the opposition, the better they perform, as a result they can come unstuck in low-key league games.

Yeah, absolutely different team in the champions league. They look like Leicester in the league

They’ve got 7 years to get him up to speed

Madrid walked that overall without looking particularly impressive. Just like grinding out a 1-0 in a league run in. Job done.

Lampard will probably get binned before the end of the season, his decision making is mental & the confidence in the squad looks shot to bits. No goals in the side at all.

Sometimes it is really hard to put yourself in a footballers head/position, but what is happening in your brain to react like T.Hernandez, i understand rivarly but sometimes it makes your enemy much more determined to reply.

Gotta hope that Osimhen and Simeone are back for Napoli in the 2nd leg. Even their 3rd choice striker was on the bench last night as he was carrying an injury.

Spalletti has said Osimhen will 100% be back.

They may not be what they once were but it’s great seeing multiple Italian clubs in the final stages of the CL again.

It’s always been my favourite European league (not that I’ve watched much of it over the last few years)

Just need Parma to get back into Serie A and in the europa league
