Now I pretty much despise Celtic. IRA salutes and all that shite and the anti-English thing. I mean, I can't stand the English either (and I am one)...but those @#%&!s are just outrageous.

But would still rather have them win the league than Rangers.

I really can't stand Rangers.

Would anyone like me to go on?
What he said apart from the Aberdeen thing, I had a Manchester United kit as a kid, now my kids have Manchester United kits.

When I lived up there I went a few times, with a fella I was working with. Solitude is a right dump actually, makes Dalyer look sophisticated...

Anyway, it's nice in these troubled times that Ireland are standing by to give our struggling European neighbours a helping hand

IIRC that is an urban myth. The score was actually 5-4 the other way

I had a United kits too and my lad only has United kits.

It was weird, everyone had loads of different shirts when I was young - it was like a competition to find out who get get the most exotic one. Remember this is the days before you could walk into any JJB and pick up any European or International top you can think of, off the peg. Remember going to Spain as a kid and trailing round for hours before we found a shop selling Barca kits - nowadays you could buy one at the airport ffs.

Often pretend to support rangers. But would prefer to see a.n.other win rather than either of the big two.

The more you encounter them the more you realise what an unimpressive bunch they are.

Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen. Whereever you go is full of gobshites with chips on their shoulder.

People from Edinburgh can be fairly reasonable when having to deal with the existence of the English but the rest of them are horrible @#%&!s in my experience.
