He is very very good although I must admit I would prefer a player who was similar to Louis in regards to their style of play as we have more than enough players who are capable of playing just off the front man.

Valid point. I think he could turn out well at United though.

All the attributes Rooney has, plus a better finisher.

Doesn't track back as much though.

That is one of the stupidest posts I have ever seen on this forum, and that is going some....

Would have been far better off with the likes of Anelka or McCarthy.

Pure - you could have said exactly the same about Dwight Yorke at the time we signed him.

I think there's only me left in the world who still thinks Dwight Yorke was a bad buy. I never thought he was worth £12.6M and I still wouldn't buy him even knowing that he was immense in the treble year.

As for Tevez being trouble, he won't be any more trouble than Anelka would have been or Heinze has been.

Strength, Power, a natural aptitude for the English game......

You are talking shit if you think Tevez is half the player Rooney is.

I'm getting more and more sick and tired with this Tevez is the greatest player ever to kick a football shit. He's a good player, that is all, did £#%&! all for West Ham for most of the season and didn't exactly light up the Copa America.

He's a good player, that is it.

The ability to dictate the flow of the game, greater awareness. Tevez is a bit more direct.

Tevez has bags of strength, you could tell that from the World cup last year, shielded the ball very well, looked strong and transferred this to the PL.

He single handedly kept West Ham up plus it would have taken a little while to settle in the Prem, let a lone a very average West Ham side.

He was decent in the Copa and had a hand in a lot of goals.

I must admitt that I was'nt that enthusiastic about the #@&%!star's signing at the time but his performances during his first 2 season's turned out to be absolutly brilliant, however the least said about the vast majority of his last two season's(with the exeption of his hat-trick against the gooners, of course)the better.
