we wimped out against sevilla; they are going to the final. if you want to talk about history, they've got five european cups.

we haven't won a trophy that matters since 2013.

We're talking about United under Mourinho. To that end, Liverpool have been wholly unsuccessful and we have won trophies (despite you claiming they are unworthy baubles).

Liverpool have not won the Champions League. You'll have to wait, I'm afraid.

So an FA cup two years ago and a UEFA cup to get us back in to Europe didn't matter?

You don't half talk some shite lad.

The fa cup that’s been been won recently by Wigan and the UEFA cup which teams with erritidge like Savilla basically own. They matter of course but surely we have higher aspirations.

the context is whether it would be worse if city or liverpool won the cl. try to keep up.

of course those trophies matter. comparing liverpool's performance last night with ours against sevilla... not so much.

And? You can only win what's presented to you. One is a historic trophy that holds a special place within the club and the other was a necessity. Couldn't care less if Stalybridge Celtic ended up winning the FA Cup. Doesn't tarnish it's importance.

Almost as if we have a divine right to win the League every season

your final sentence doesn't relate to anything here.

and your first para still ignores the context of this discussion.
