The year before was the one where McClair's goal that looked over the line was ruled out. Hillsborough probably wouldn't have happened if we'd won, as the semi would have been at Goodison or Maine Road.

He’s too old, was never a top quality defender and there’s no way he can be up to the fitness level required for a blood and thunder fa cup game. If I was ETH id be starting Willy kambwala instead of him.

I’d probably keep mclaren in though.
