Jimbo is £#%&!ing quality and Gazzetta Football Italia remains the best football show ever seen on British tv. His interviews and silly gags with the likes of Lombardo were brilliant. The puns were different class too:

And my all time favourite:

£#%&!ing hell

Had a great way with words. If you can get past the subject, this is pretty cleaver:

Quote:
"Milan came back from Istanbul wondering if Carlos Ancelotti was, indeed, the Bosphorus."

No wonder he can't get a job at the BBC, he's too £#%&!ing smart for the @#%&!s.

Remember certain games where they would do live coverage from Inter etc, Hodgson was the pundit. Paul Elliott was very good as well.
Hell, even Wilkins seemed good on it. That's how ace it was

Pleased to see him get the ESPN gig at the weekend. Hopefully he's there to stay.

Richardson is head and shoulders above any of the football show hosts on offer these days but he is a completely different character who is all about the bantz. I couldn't think of anything worse than him reading an autocue and lining Shearer up with tap ins. Just listen to him on the Guardian weekly podcasts.

ps it was Goooo Laziooooooooooo

A proper football hero is Jimbo.

Still chucking out great lines, from the weekend:

Quote:
"..and we hear about Liverpool and the greatest comedy performance with the Trotters since Only Fools and Horses"
About the time England were #@&%!ing up qualification a few years ago:

Quote:
"England are in a bigger hole than Pavarotti's gravediggers"
When people were chanting that Mido looked like Richard Reid, the shoe bomber:

Quote:
"..well they do both have dynamite feet"
