Nothing incredible in here, but so many instances where de gea would have struggled, picked the wrong option or just generally made hard work of it.

Or wouldn't be 30 yards out of his goal beside his centre backs getting involved in the build up play

True. Wouldn’t even be in the position in the first place in most cases. He’ll make these things look easy. Big upgrade.

We need the same in a forward now too.

Ten Hag saying today that we need to improve our finishing. We do, but the best solution is to buy someone who can already finish.

You're a grown man in your 40s. Don't do this.

Love the movement forward on the edge of his box to chest the ball down to his feet and playing a forward pass instead of taking a step back and catching the ball

Tears in my eyes watching that.

Wonderful to see.

Tragic we have two great players to play on the left and no-one through the middle.

Obviously his distribution looks good and speed in which he makes his decisions but seeing him come for the cross on 3minutes was £#%&!ing glorious

At times Onana was playing centre back when we were in possession, and I’m here for it

I’m observing our new goalkeeper in comparison to our old goalkeeper. Perfectly normal thing to do.

But not surprised to see you bounce to the thread at the mere mention of his name.

it has nothing to do with de gea.

onana made a few simple passes under no pressure. made one half-decent save. got chipped when out for a wander. that's all that matters.

Warmed to the idea of Sacho as a false 9 rather than Rashford up front. Need the latter cutting in. His biggest strength.

If this Dutch lad comes you know he'll run through brick walls for ETH.

Paying attention to pre season results is complete folly. It’s all integration and miles on the legs.

We beat Liverpool 4-0 last season did we not, only muppets would have read a lot into it.
