See, I'd have May in the average squad. He was ok, not great, but decent and had that spell in 97 when he scored against Porto and there were calls for an England call up.

In fact, David May should be in the best XI and I'm not negotiable on this.

At right back though? Sense my positioning.

May was class. I think we had a lad named robbins in midfield, bellion ont wing, Kleberson in the mids also. Diego up front? Clayton blackmore?

Surely you can't count players who only played a couple of games. Goram was brought in for a specific reason as we needed cover at the time - played 2 games perhaps. Was past his best certainly but was free and was still a better keeper than Leighton at his best. Taibi cost £5m remember. Prunier only played 2 games as well and was only on trial really in an emergency.

Prunier? Played two games had one good one and a shitter when he was on loan.
Rio? That's just stupid even if you think he's a @#%&!
May? Certainley not the best but £#%&! me another stupid choice
Silvestre? Too £#%&!ing right Could be a very good player if he wasn't a simpleton.

I think the fact that people still roll Prunier's name out when naming these 11's is a testament to the fact that fergie isn't an inept £#%&!tard in the transfer market as some would have you believe.

So Prunier was shite for 50% of his United career.
May at Right Back!!!!
Rio - don't start me. He's the best but he's a @#%&! so he makes it.

That is just £#%&!ing scary

Kleberson shouldn't be in there, though; he was far better than he ended up looking. United came too early for him, but he was a superb player.

But this was a shite United XI and he was shite for us. Not done much since as well but agree that he did look half-decent before he came to us.

Had a few games where he looked like a player for us in the early days I reckon. Anyway, from recent times I'd swap him for Djemba - even though he had a similar time of it in Keane's shadow.

Overall though, if your XI walked out on a Saturday I wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry
