You're right, he rarely rests Rooney and Ronnie. Especially Ronnie. But I think if England coasted the two games at home on a good pitch then he definitely would start.

Tevez is more likely to be dropped and I think Rooney will start, but I'm sayng it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't.

I'd also like Anderson to continue. He's just getting going now and some momentum will do him.

There some real selection dilemmas these days though. We haven't even mentioned Nani.

Hargo seems to think he's fit to start and I'd be surprised if he didn't, would think Fergie's gonna want to get himn into the team straight away. As to Nani, I'd certainly have him in ahead of Giggs currently, though behind Anderson. As you say, plenty for Ferguson to think about, which isn't aways a good thing.

Hargreaves also thought he'd be fit for England's game against Russia at home.

I suspect we'll see a Sahaesque handholding back into the side.

4-1 Villa, 2 from Gabby Agbonlahooker and one each from Gardener and Laursen.

This will be a very difficult and unpleasant match.

Au revoir mes amis. Encouragent vers le haut et mangent la dinde!

No I'd like to see him play more but in midfield. Same reason I don't want to see Scholes at right back.

I don't want to go along with that. Swap him for Nani and I'll play along.

You would think so but no, 'tis true, your hatred for Anderson is so strong it has almost attained a sentience of its own.
