Default Will Anderson ever score in open play for united?

he turns into a headless chicken as soon as he is anywhere within 25 yards of the goal.

most of his goals elsewhere seem to be through burst through midfield - which he doesn't seem to be encouraged to do in his role with us.

statistically one of his 30 yarders will go in eventually a la John Jensen.

He had a great opportunity to chip the goalie yesterday. Good to see him running ahead of the ball though - don't think we see the best of him confining him to a deeper role (which he does very well).

I'm confident once he get's his first, he'll be a lot better in front of goal.

That was a sitter. 30 yards out, Green on the edge of his box. Anderson just passed it back to him along the floor.

In the second half he sprayed a 40 yard pass right on to Rooney's left foot, no problem.

He has unresolved psychological issues.

That he stepped up in Moscow - and scored - means he is either very, very brave or very, very stupid. Possibly both.

During the warm up he shot at an open net from about 20 yards and still only managed to hit the bar
