The Mirror are reporting he's off to Arse too.

last year fergie and carlos went to Portugal and signed two of the worlds greatest young talents. this year he £#%&!s off on holiday and loses out.

who would you listen to, Gary Neville or Arsene Wenger?

got a feeling this is going to be a poor summer transfer wise.

not really. the Ronaldo situation will consume all utd's efforts this summer. it will be dragged out until the end of August when they will cave in. Utd will then claim it's too late to sign anyone.

utd have not handled this well. they should of said absolutely £#%&! all. utd are coming across as desperate.

From the Sky Sports website.

In-demand teenager Aaron Ramsey has told Cardiff City that he wants to join Arsenal.

Cardiff have accepted £5million bids from Arsenal and Premier League rivals Manchester United and Everton.

The winger has held talks with all three clubs and has now decided upon a move to Emirates Stadium, having flown out to Switzerland to meet Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

A statement on Cardiff's official website read: "Cardiff City were informed on Friday morning that Aaron Ramsey's preferred destination this summer is at Emirates Stadium with Arsenal.

"We will now continue the dialogue with the Gunners with a view to Aaron's move being completed.

"The move unlike other options, however, does not include a loan back period at Ninian Park for the 2008/09 season."

Reports have claimed that Cardiff boss Dave Jones, and chairman Peter Ridsdale, were keen for Ramsey to join United as the Premier League champions were willing to agree a loan deal for next season.

However, Arsenal have put up the most persuasive argument for Ramsey and will now try to finalise a deal with Cardiff.

The 17-year-old has become one of the hottest properties in British football after a promising second half to last season, which culminated in a substitute's appearance in the FA Cup Final against Portsmouth.

Looks to me like the fact that Arsenal weren't going to loan him back next season may have been the deciding factor.

Wasn't handled well but Smeggs point may also be valid, it does seem he wants to play in the PL at Arse next season, rather than go back on loan to Kairdiff. Sadly for him, he'll not actually play at all now next season, well maybe a few minutes here and there and Carling Cup games.

I agree with Wiganste, £#%&! him. He'll get a game next year because all the half decent Arse players will have £#%&!ed off.

If we really did want him however, this is a £#%&! up by the club. No amount of spin from you lot will change that.

Big mistake by Aaron though. How the £#%&! can he ever expect to play for Real Madrid if he doesn't sign for us first?

Yup, he should just think about this as he signs for Arse, he turned down the Champions of Europe to sign for them.

United bid 5 million for Joe Cole before he kicked a ball for West Ham and it took him another 4 years before he looked liek a great player. Arsenal bid a million for Dean Ashton when he was only 15 but Crewe knocked them back and he took another 3 years to look good. And lets not forget that record teenage signing Jermaine Pennant. This lad hasn't even broken the first team in the championship yet, I'm not too sure why all the media hype.
