Thankfully we won’t be playing that lot again any time soon. Horrible team to play against.

Doesn’t help when the team is full of idiots and shit@#%&!s . First game that was going to be a test and it was almost a revert back to type. Martial shows he isn’t the answer. He would get 10-15 goals but we need a proper striker.

If Sancho gets injured there is nobody to play on the right.

We don’t have a single CM ( though Fred has shown he may be able to do a job provided a top class midfielder is next to him)

Malacia was decent atleast and eriksen when he came on. Shame slabhead was doing slab head things and didn’t get the goal and eriksen his assist.

to win games you need to score goals.

we needed two attacking players before we ever needed a lb to challenge Luke shaw or a 5th CB.

yes the players we got are ok but we literally have
rashford (coming off two shit seasons and no signs of real inprovemenrs it’s just hope more than anything)
Sancho (quality)
Martial (showing good signs)
Elanga (shit)

That’s it.

Literally that’s our wingers and forwards in our whole squad.

and we went to buy 2 defenders this summer first.

shaw and telles could see us through the up coming season
Maguire + 1 of lindelof, bailly, varane could see us through the up coming season

Martial will go back into his shell in no time too.

That was obvious after about 2 games of his first season.

Better pressing and structure than last season but the quality in the top end is not there, would wasp Bruno for Felix in a heartbeat, and Elanga can't be getting significant game time.

Donny makes Morgan Schneiderlin look like Roy Keane.

Completely out of his element…

100% once he starts to get bullied by bigger CBs.

Leave up to recruitment and board to handicap the manager of Manchester United once again. Only this time there’s no Woodward, can’t even see them panic buy in the last week of the window.

The only other transfer taking place may be the de jong deal. They are done after that.

Eriksen is already our best midfielder. We will do absolutely nothing btw with that huge galoot at the back. Very quickly becoming my most despised ever United player - I think I’d be more forgiving if he wasn’t captain but he embarrasses us. The worst player on the pitch is the captain. How does that work?

To win games you need to create goals and that’s why Ronaldo was perfect for us and probably still is.

It’s so simple, in the short term at least, that it’s becoming painful now.

Martial already feeling a tight hamstring. Absolute Saha.

He doesn’t create now that’s the problem (we’ve got plenty others tbf). He can put away a half chance which is good as we don’t create many proper ones. Thing is the type of immobile striker he is these days also stifles our creativity because we’re trying to make certain types of chances (for a goal hanging geriatric).

They’re barely creative as is, Ronaldo hardly stifling . Tbh with Ronaldo and the new system you would never know until he plays. Eth seems to know his shit. He may tweak the style a bit to suit him and bring him into the team.

Ronaldo probably will leave, the bigger worry is that it looks like it will be de jong and that’s it .( that’s even if he signs)

He doesn’t need to create them, that’s not been his job for about five years. He needs people to cross the ball in to the box once or twice a game and he’ll put them away. Putting the ball in the box is something we’ve struggled with for ten years though.

Yup.

Going into a new season with him as our first choice CF is ridiculous

This should have been the summer to sack the bum off.

The eye opening fact is any one of the attacking players ( bar Sancho) has a case for not being here.

Ronaldo (wants to leave)

Elanga ( not good enough)

Martial (decent preseason but went missing in first real test, will have this season but can’t see him taking it to the level needed)

Rashford (last chance saloon, needs a good season but looks same old in preseason)

Sancho (only one who has potential and plays well)

Pellestri/amad ( young , maybe have potential but atm not good enough to start)

Out of all the wingers and strikers only 1 out of 7 players is regularly a good performer . If any or even all of the remaining 5 or 6 players leave by the end of this/ next year nobody would have a strong case for keeping them.

You better hope eriksen can put in 30+ 90 min games in one of those inside forward/wing positions because if not ETH will have a tough season on his hands with these frauds

End of the day I’m willing to give Martial a chance as he was loaned out last season and has actually delivered in the past, unlike that oaf at the back. Trying to play the modern game with some reject from Leicester at the back is just absurd.

Harry Maguire is up there with Pogba as one of the worst signings we’ve ever made.

Probably always gonna be hard to make a strong case for keeping a player that’s left tbf.
