The likes of Moyes, and Mourinho have no excuses, they have been in club football non stop for years, they should have scouted enough players for their other jobs to know what's available, it's their judgment that's all over the £#%&!ing place, look at the players Mourinho let go like de Bruyne, and Salah he's not to be trusted.
Schneiderlin was bought in his second season...

I was surprised we didn't try and sign De Vrij though. Solid centre back, young and looked very good in the World Cup and leading up to it

Has done well at Lazio I think.

He also constantly loses the ball easily, nudged off it. Look at Silva and other players like that.

There is a reason why we will end up at Dortmund or Inter and not one of the not boys.
Agree with this. Loses the ball ridiculously easily due in the main to his desire to just dribble at all costs, even if the best option is a simple lay off. It's like playing with a good player in school who just wants to do EVERYTHING to the detriment of the team.

Back to Dortmund, I'm hearing.

How many of their old players do they bring back?

Yeah, we're going to miss out on Sanchez cos he won't go to Arsenal.

A likely story

Don't get the thing that the deal only happens with Mkhitaryan going the other way. Arsenal will take the cash if he doesn't wanna go there.

Probably need to get Mkhi’s wages off the books to balance giving Sanchez £350k per week.

Take Mkhi out the deal and his £100k per week or whatever remain on the budget and we cough up another £25m. That’s quite a difference.

then sell him to someone else.... send him back to Germany... There was a reason why he was not picked up by a big club till we came on the scene.... Mentally too weak to be able to perform at the level we need week in week out. At the likes of Dortmund he could get away with 1 or 2 good games out of every 8 games.. no chance of getting away with that here...

If Mkhi is on £140k then Dortmund aren’t paying that.

In the current climate I can see Arsenal being one of very few genuine options for him unless he will take a cut.

For most players who have left United (with one or two notable exceptions) their career path has been downwards.
Mkhitaryan is now looking down the barrel of that gun, understandable that he doesn't want to go willingly, but stay or go his future at OT seems time limited!

That's for the clarification Captain Obvious.
