Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish lays bare the toll of three stadium tragedies in harrowing new film about his life. A feature-length documentary 'Kenny' pays tribute to the living Liverpool legend

Kenny, which is due to have what will be a hugely emotional premiere in Liverpool on November 15, tells his story mainly through his attachment to his beloved adopted city.

And even viewers with no particular affinity for Dalglish or Liverpool will surely be moved by the traumatic account of what he has been through away from his trophy-laden achievements as player and manager.

The Glaswegian was in the stands at the Ibrox disaster in 1971 which led to 66 deaths, a Liverpool player at the Heysel tragedy in 1985 when 39 lost their lives, and the club manager at Hillsborough in 1989 when there were 96 victims .
He's a £#%&!ing jinx! Wouldn't want him next nor near any other stadiums.

Massively tactless naming a stand after him

10 games into the season and they're already 12 points off the top. Or 5 from relegation.

Biggest £#%&!ing joke of a club in English football.

Met a few of those tbh. Always put it down to their success in the 70s & 80s

I met a scouse United supporter in the Stretty in the 70's, he had United tattooed inside his bottom lip, reckoned he was always scrapping with scousers. 😁

Worked with a scouse fan about 10-12 yrs ago.
He stoppped going afte Hillsboro
His missus was from M'cr & a die-hard Utd fan.
They had 2 boys, one a Utd fan & one a vermin fan. The vermin fan was a lorrly driver (prolly a proper prossie murderer) who apprently refused to do any runs that took him into Manchester.
The scouse guy said he had to take the Utd fan lad to OT when he was young, but refused to go on with him & used to kill time in the museum 7 apparently got friendly with the staff there, even tho he reckoned he would go there in a Liverpool shirt or trackie top.

Initially I thought he was full of shit but it does sound mad enough to be true,

That's absolute %@#$&!s. As if a lorry driver on minimum wage could dictate where he made deliveries.

What a lying Scouse @#%&!
