Thank £#%&! he's picked his strongest team

Cue a load of 'Why is Hargreaves playing? It's not his type of game' posts.

Nah it's understandable this time, we've got Liverpool away next week and he'll no doubt be playing in that one and with the Roma game being pointless midweek he wasn't gonna be playing in that one either.

It would be silly to rest him for 2 weeks after the Fulham game so it was inevitable that he'd start today.

The Hargreaves/Anderson combination has not quite clicked yet, both been ok individually but the understanding is not there yet. Probably why he is giving them another run out.

Team would suggest that the side for Roma will be mostly a shadow 11.

Nani was dropped. About time.

Good team though, no excuses.

Wasn't in the squad against Fulham either.
Would of liked to have seen Carrick starting with Anderson but i'm glad we are playing our full strength team.

The bench and first XI is unchanged from Monday, why didn't you say that then? Shit stirring troll.

He needs the rest badly, the same would happen to Carlitos had Saha been in better condition. Nani and Tevez had very busy summers and were thrown into our team with incredible pressure on them due to Rooneys injury and ROnaldos suspension.

We've not seen the best of neither.

He hasn't played well.

But he's hardly been dropped in that sense.

Fergie gave Cristiano several breaks in his first couple of seasons, and Nani needed one badly. He'll come back very fresh for the Roma game.

I dont really understand why you guys are making out him to be dropped, its quite sad really. As if you hate him or something, get a grip ffs.

Rooney was atrocious for several months and he wasn't exactly a new player at the club either. He had a full pre season aswell, there were no excuses. And don't bring up the 3 match ban, that was his own petulant selfs fault.

That's a fair statement. Nobody hates Nani but sometimes you have to aknowledge that young players need a rest.
And like you say too, it's not as if we're starting a thread dedicated to calling him a @#%&!.

And you complain when someone dares to suggest Nani has been shit?

Get a grip.
