Default Southampton manager Nigel Adkins sacked.

Mirror saying it's confirmed.

Strange one.

Their owners are properly £#%&!ing minted, wondering if they are now considering a bit of a run at it. They stumped up for Gaston Ramirez, may try & attract some bigger names. I'd piss myself if they got Hughes & his shower of @#%&!s.

Eh? They've done ok recently, moved a few points clear of the bottom 3 too. Very strange.

£#%&!ing lunacy. Will deffo go down. Obv Adkins wasn't a big enough name to attract overpaid underacheivers so they get in somebody whose name ends with "ino", nobody knows who the £#%&! he is but it ends in "ino" so the mercanaries will come.

:shakehead:

Bit surprising I guess. Pochettino isn't a bad replacement and at least they've got him in very early as opposed to waiting weeks. Or not at all, like Wolves last season. (No, Terry Connor wasn't a real replacement)

Good time to put money on these jokers to go down. What a stupid decision.

came across as a nice bloke in the pre match interview before the united game in aug/sep. worked his way up from the paul parker's pube leagues. A.k.a the bottom. Sacked this soon after Christmas too. Disgraceful.

will miss his jumper and blazer combos, but not his "barclays premier league" and "football club" utterances, or his smug look.

far too self assured for a speccy four eyes, imo.
