On a normal situation most people would be on board with you. However we are being sold so the funds are next to nothing. We need a striker and he fits the bill of something different to what we have and probably someone who the manager knows a bit about .

Good point. If he spent that money on a goal scorer there’s a good chance we’d be pushing at the top.

He seems a bit one dimensional in the transfer market. Most of the players we sign or are linked with are either Dutch or coming from the Dutch league.

He’s still doing a good job.
