£#%&!ing harsh for the lad, but agree that he's not a huge loss for us. No idea if LvG actually wanted him, mind. Was always guesswork from the press, given that they didn't have a clue we wanted most of our targets until they were pretty much signed.

Got to be a worry for Falcao. Did well at the weekend but still looks a shadow of that player at Atleti that destroyed Chelsea in that Super Cup match
Yeah that's right. I know it's hard to feel sorry for footballers at the moment but knee injuries must be a right bastard - terrifying for them.

Explains why we're being linked with De Jong again.

His knee will fall off by the end of August.

Should put him down now.

Poor bastard. Was it the Roma club doctor who off the record said he was done?

Somebody did and he refuted it. There were rumours the 2nd op was a botch too.. Not looking good.

Fair comment.

Apparently, he has Cyclops Syndrome.

You've got to feel for the poor bastard, anyone who has that many ops on their knees simply isn't physically capable of dealing with the rigours of training etc.

Should bin it & become a manager, sounded like he was the brains on the pitch. Could get a lot of access to top clubs & learn a shitload early doors.

We can check this post in 2025 when he's managing AC Milan to another CL success.
