Would be superb. England could actually do okay at the World Cup with that midfield three.

Obviously the likes of Fat F£#%&! and the slopeheaded DJ-beater will worm their way into the team though.

So some £#%&!er doesn't like Tom Cleverley because he plays for Manchester United. So what?

So gallumphing, clumsy oafs are only okay if they're in our midfield.

Right. Gotcha.

They are ok to 'do a job'...

imagine having to watch a midfield of Garcia, Barry & Milner every week

He's a quality player. Will be a world-class centre-back and could even be a very good box-to-box midfielder.

You've had it it for him from day one. Desperate for him to fail.

reminds me of a call to talk shit from a few years ago after an england game
some idiot said something along the lines of
wayne rooney, owen hargreaves, rio ferdinand and gary neville should never play for england again
i wasn't impressed with phil neville either

it boils their piss to have to cheer on a united player
or stay silent for dead united players

Going back to the original article, he makes a decent point. We are after all talking about a player who at 23 years of age can't seem to make it past 65 mins without dying on his arse. He's got the engine of a flymo.

He might as well have stopped at 'What's the point' and submitted that to his editor
