If Saha was fit for the bench he should have started imo. Especially if that's the kind of side we're putting out.

What if Carrick plays well again today? Surely he can't leave him out in Lyon.

Hopefully Anderson isn't pushed too far forward. Ahead of Carrick and Fletch, yes. Playing off Rooney, no.

I guessing it may be a 4-3-3 formation, i'm most likely wrong though.

Has Giggs been dropped for being absolutely bilge lately or been 'rested' because he's a legend?

why I am not suprised to see the Fletch's name on that team sheet. Fergie said he'd play his part/have his moments, lets just hope he steps upto the occasion.

Alex obviously thinks that we need an arm-waver to dazzle Arsenal with.

The pitch is a £#%&! up. Might work in our favour.

Interesting to see how they'll line-up with that XI.

I was hoping for the best teams to be out there. Somehow fergie knew arsenal were going to play a weakened side - wouldnt surprise me if there was some sort of gentlemans agreement on the teams for this game or else how did fergie know before hand?

Kind of stinks but oh well.

Well, he DID turn up and then some. Credit where its due, an immense performance from the lad and what a laugh we would have had if he'd have scored 3. MOM for we was Nani by a whisker, Anderson and then Fletch a close second and third.

Can't believe he has left out Ronaldo, Giggs and Tevez. All 3 of them!

One thing that really £#%&!s me off is Fletcher doesn't get in the squad for smaller games yet suddenly he is capable of playing against one of the best sides in the league? How can he possibly be fit?
