you can tell he's willing himself into a bit of form. just one of the reasons you have got to love him.

carrick, though, he's £#%&!ing infuriating. I actually get annoyed that we're paying him money to be a wet blanket: wet with his own nightpiss.

evra has been slowly rediscovering his form after that car crash of a world cup. there's a similar process going on with rooney, i expect.

carrick has surely had his last chance by now. class player for three years but all over the place now.

O'Shea in his current form is unplayable.

Park's always been a very effective member of the squad in certain fixtures.
He's had some great moments in the shirt too - key goals against Arsenal, a winner against Liverpool & some good European performances.

This season though, I would agree that he's been absolutely terrible.

Evra keeps making mistakes that lead to goals. Did it again Sunday when he showed Tuncay to the inside, has done it basically every other game this season, far too frequent.

He does lots of other things well, but the lunging in/crazy attempted clearances thing isn't working out for him lately.

Depends how long a period of time we're talking. Coz if it ain't much then it's just form. For someone to have 'gone shit' they surely have to be have been shit for longer than this season.

Evra, Rooney, Fletcher haven't gone shit, they're just off form and all have still had their moments this season.

Whereas Carrick has been shit for about 18 months. Evans form over the last 6 months is also average at best (but it's all part of his learning process). I'd have O'Shea in there, but he's been shit longer than he's been good.

yep. thing is, it was ridiculously knee-jerk to start slagging a player off because of a bit of bad form after 3 years of excellence. since that bad form has lasted the best part of a season it's a bit different now.
