Seems more like the board didn't go down well with Arteta. Same with Luis Enrique. The restrictions the board have put in place put both of them off ( you're basically just the first team coach, signings and everything else is handled by others )

Also, i keep seeing £50mil as their max budget which is strange as £#%&!.

I'd be shocked if they only spend £50m.

They made a profit on transfers last season despite buying Lacazette and Aubameyang.

For this summer. I presume it's due to their xmas spending. The whole thing about how much money they have is clearly a lie. Now Wenger can't take the blame for being tight

This price has been repeated over n over and again one of the things putting off the managers who've turned them down...

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...ansfer-budget/

Dont forget, this is the second season with zero ECL money and their owners seem worse than ours.

He is, albeit a bit pragmatic I think. Interesting direction for them, but I think their main priority is saving money.

They’re going with the right structure
Get the sporting director to make the signings and appoint the first coach who actually wants to coach the squad and make them better

Emery is really good coach if a bit eccentric

Think we’ll see a lot of Arsenal players improve with some actual coaching and tactical instruction

Watch the way he's treated in the media compared with anyone who's taken over United in the last 3 years.

They'll be lining up to kiss his arse.
