Is anyone else disappointed by how little we hear from Fergie?
Not just about football but general things too. Apart from a short burst of presence in late 2013 and now just seeing him in the stands it's as if he died.
Beyond being such a champion of football management Fergie is a very interesting man to listen to and is highly self-educated in politics, history etc. It's his retirement to do what he wants with but is he mkaing the decision to be so isolated or is that agent of his "cashing him in" elsewhere rather than doing less lucrative tv/radio interviews, writing etc? Personally I would love to hear more from him, much more. I never expected it to be like this at all. |

miss the guy loads tbh
His Press Conferences/post match' etc.. were unmissable. Almost as entertaining as the games. The Premier League has £#%&!ing died since he retired imo ..but having said that, I can't think what he'd talk about now. He wouldn't say anything to unsettle or make things difficult for Mourinho, and he's hardly likely to start slagging rival teams off etc.. We all just need to move on |

"David is a great manager, a good honest man and he did eleven fantastic years at Everton. Things didn't work out at United but that's football. He was the right man. I didn't get it wrong and to suggest otherwise is absolute nonsense. You and your paper can £#%&! off." |
