Angry You Dont Win anything With Kids.

It seems Hansen's Remark has finally caught up with our great club a few years to late....

I know what we have won since his comment and what we will win after this thread, but why the £#%&! not give the ankle biters a chance.

If i was a youth player at my boyhood club (Simpson etc) i would seriously have to think about moving away.

when will Alex 'Methadone' Ferguson give the youth a chance.????

Not even on the bench last night, Constantly shipped out on loan.....Sold.....

Last night was Bolton Not The Roman Goal Centurions...........They never were really going to cause a threat...they got a little physical but nothing a youngster/Reserve player doesn't handle week in week out.

Everyone hams up Foster/Cambell/Wellbeck/Bardsley Etc etc.

I'm sorry but There never going to get regular football..........

Our youth team and reserves/Academy is now one big huge WUM.

The Money Men rule football and scouts and agents are on the Payroll. Look abroad and buy Youtubeio.......there's nothing at our club for kids.

FACT: The level of standard has risen greatly since the mid 1990s and to maintain a challenge for trophies you now
have to import players of higher quality.

The last generation of the academy 'breakthroughs': Fletcher and O'Shea.

Only Barcelona do it nowadays and they are light years ahead of anyone else in that respect.

Very true.

It's the here and now that matters and not what potentially could be. Fergal bangs on about giving youth a chance but if they don't sparkle from the get go they are slung without a second throught.

With success etc.......

So basically what your saying is our youth Academy is a £#%&!ing Farm...

Used to sell the young cattle to better a championship level side.....or if were lucky Parma or Getafe....

We could have used some of our youth players through the past few seasons....

I'd say one or two could have been ahead of 12 million Saha by now...

but no. Let them fester and £#%&! them around like cattle.

If they're good enough they'll make it into the first team

Correct, although Rossi worried me. Thought he was good enough. Foster will be our keeper for years to come and Wellbeck will probably make it. Simpson has been acting a @#%&! and gone into Bardsley/Richardson mode, think he is being brought back down to earth

You don't £#%&! about introducing kids to the first team at this stage of the season unless you really have to.

And anyway, in the case of many of our reserves, it would help if they took their chances when presented with them.

Coventry at home, or Simpson's performance v Everton spring to mind.

Ok Fergie............

Why then did we introduce Hargo to right back last night if he plans to play him Sunday............?

I know you will say "He can play there he is cover" but why not give a youth player the chance. Rest hargo.

O'shea at left back................??? That wasnt needed either (Although we dont have to many youth LB)

Its frustrating to watch sometimes.

Now i need to take this bee out of my bonnet....

Peace.

That's exactly what it has been for the past few years. The players coming up are obviously deemed not good enough for the first team.

Exactly.............And Saha. Given a run out last night when he's a £#%&!ing coward and isnt fit to wear the shirt.........

I understand the £#%&!ing about with the team at this stage of the season point, but this has been going on for years.

It isnt just this season.

£#%&! knows what Fergie is planning for Sunday, I doubt even he's 100% sure at the moment.

My point is that if you do rotate the team at this stage of the year, you go with proven talent, not untried youngsters.

I hear that point, but what about over the past 5/6 season....When we have had serious Positional problems...

We look for quick fixes and abroad.....
