Average. No better defensively than Rafael and not really much better going forward. Doesn't get inured anywhere near as often mind you.

He clearly is better going forward in fairness. He's got 12 goals in his last two seasons, which is a good return for a full back who doesn't take set pieces.

Fair enough that is a good return, higher than I would have thought. I just have a general impression of him bombing forward, beating a man and overhitting final balls a lot. It'd be a nightmare trying to deal with those hysterical @#%&!s too though.

As opposed to lumbering forward, checking back then smacking it as hard as you can against the full back's legs. Not sure which is worse/better

He's definitely better going forward than Rafael, a bit better defensively as well.

Also the bonus of not spending large parts of the season injured or suspended, and not being Valencia.

Don't doubt there's better right backs out there, but wouldn't be disappointed with Coleman
