Default Seamus Coleman

http://www.theguardian.com/football/...target-everton

Hard to make arguments against it given Rafa's constant injury issues.

We can't keep injury prone players like Smalling, Rafael, and even Jonesy as 1st choice and then complain about injuries.

I think Coleman is a decent player. There's not too many options out there for RB.

Add Evans into the mix while you are at it.

in my racially stereotypical dream team an Irish full-back is a must.

Get him signed. ASAP.

Good signing.

certainly better than the painfully average Leighton Barnes. ooh he can cross. well £#%&! me.

No better than Andy Hinchliffe.

anyway, what was the question?

Coleman? yeah, I reckon I could take him.

Regardless of constant injuries, Raf is not good enough.

I can imagine the screaming and pissing and moaning from Martinez and the blue Scousers if we do go in for him. That makes it even better but the price could get ridiculous.

Raft would be good enough if he engaged his brain more consistently. Unfortunately he doesn't so I'd prefer Coleman with him as back up.

He still plays like he's an 18 year old know nothing.

He is worth keeping as a back up to the new guy.

Three minor drawbacks on this story

1) it's from JJ
2) his doesn't rate him is based on playing Valencia over him because Tony deserved his place
3) it's from JJ

Top player. Everton will squeeze every last penny out of us though.

I'd prefer Clyne tbh. The better player imo.

He'd be every bit as expensive at this stage.

This, does it 5 times a season at home but you can't rely on him, always good for a ball watch/switch off moment at a crucial time too. He should be back up.

Love Rafael but he has been given long enough to cement the RB spot as his own, but his injuries and far too often brain fart moments mean he has failed to do this. Now is the time to bring in a new RB.

TBH we could drop 20-25m on a RB and in 18 months time still be using Rafael if he got his shit together, but we can't hope that is going to happen.

Given the choice of Coleman or Clyne or would prefer Clyne, the better defensively of the two IMO.

Coleman like the mop head they conned us out of money for, like the other mop head that £#%&!er moyes nearly lumbered us with is just not good enough to even think of pulling on a United shirt.

FFS is this want we have become scraping the barrel for blue rat munchers cast offs, get a grip.

And anyone saying dive in Jones is a 1st choice give me strength.
