It's been a hard lesson realising that most of the country thinks they're a bunch of £#%&!ing @#%&!s.

I kind of agree with him when he refuses to talk about refs - starting to see a lot of a managers do this now, Jose included. What's the point, when they end up getting charged? Jouralist's should be discouraged from asking about them.

They did come out of the traps like greyhounds tbf......ably assisted by getting something like 8 penalties in their first 10 games of the season.

Obviously the rigours of the premier league are now telling a bit... coupled with the fact that Guardiola is supposedly a bit of tyrant on the training pitch who is extremely demanding isn't helping..

IIRC they were struggling to beat Stoke on the first day until the referee awarded them the first penalty in history for holding in the box at a corner.

Exactly. I know a hull fan who directly disabused some blues of that notion. He told them that he hated them just as much, and told them why (as per your post). He was laughing telling me because he said they appeared genuinely upset.

Human nature isn't it. People don't like others being successful as a general rule.

When that success is deemed to have been gained without merit or handed on a plate it only makes it more keenly felt.

10 wins on the bounce at the start of the season and then crumbled. It's 1986 all over again.

I hadn't actually seen any of Pep's post-match interviews until yesterday. Jesus Christ, what a #@&%! what's wrong with him?

He gets that way when things aren't going all his way.

He was the same before the semi final against Inter in 2010. Mourinho totally got to him.
