Despite the fine performance the other night our striking options still concern me a great deal. We should be after a striker this month ourselves, but again I very much doubt it.

Why wouldn't he go there?

He left us 3-and-a-half years ago, and on bad terms.

RVN would be the final nail in the coffin of the vermin's season. He's so slow these days he'd totally ruin their attack.

would rather rvn going there than maxi rodriguez, ruud was a great player when he was here, probably the best goal scorer i saw in the red shirt as i was a bit too young to have appreciated denis law, however he was a bit of a @#%&! and wouldn't blink an eye at the thought of turning out for the scousers if the money was right.

I have faith that he wouldnt join them
