One sides see its first but without registering it. The other sides belives it's seen it before...like a switch flicking.

The forum had been more or less united in 'onness', revelling in our incredible return to form, and he waltzes in with a casual strut, throwing subbies at big Mou and the occasional stat grenade.

You can almost feel forumistas beginning to doubt the evidence of their own eyes. It's just like in Sixth Sense...we are suddenly replaying that heroic draw with Burnley etc in our minds with a whole new perspective.

United are shooting more under Mourinho than they ever were under Louis van Gaal – and they are facing fewer shots against them, too.

United's 16.9 shots a game is more than the 13.5 and 11.3 they managed in 2014-15 and 2015-16 under Van Gaal.

As for shots faced, they are allowing only 9.5 against them a game. Under Van Gaal, they were never below 10. Nor were Chelsea when they were crowned champions under Mourinho (10.9).
