Thumbs down Apparently, Man City are the new Barca...

Quote:
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini was coy on the comparisons to Barcelona and instead demanded improvements after demolishing Wigan.

Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 win at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday to mean that Carlos Tevez's wretched penalty failure could even be forgotten.

City, who have now scored 15 goals in four Premier League matches, pulled Roberto Martinez's Wigan apart through the combination play of Aguero, Tevez and David Silva.

Post-match parallels were being made to European champions Barcelona, but when asked if his side were the English equivalent, Mancini only said: "Maybe".
Who the £#%&! made the comparison in the first place?

I just turned Sunday Supplement on for about 25 seconds, and the fat bearded slug that is Martin Samuel was busy explaining why City are the closest team to the Chelsea side that nearly, and should've, knocked Barca out of the CL in 2009 and as a result they would be favourites should the City and Barca meet. Also, apparently, City wouldn't have the fear that United would have, having never been played off the park by them and have more tools to enable them to beat them than anybody else.

It's going to be a long £#%&!ing season.

And Arsenal's dip has seen them become the new City. Liverpool are the new Champions (obviously). Are we still United?

I thought our opponents were shit? We should be expected to beat Spurs by 3, Arsenal by 6 and Bolton 5.

They are, we only beat them all because they are shit and they all gave up at 1 or 2-0 down, and the first couple of goals were generally down to the referee.

David Silva is a joy to watch. I hate how he plays for them but we had best get used to it.

The only glimmer of light in an otherwise overpriced collection of @#%&!s. Their only real test is us in October. Can't see them £#%&!ing up against the likes of Villa, Everton and Fulham.
