Harry Kane and Spurs contract talks on hold

Currently only on £60k a week. Knows he can get over £100k elsewhere and talks have stalled.

United replacement for Ibrahimovic, confirmed (only by me).

He's not the pacy striker I'd hope for but he bangs goals...

Would be very expensive & somewhat scripts our style of play... but he's a cracking player, scored loads over the last two seasons & seems to turn up in their big games (Arsenal / Chelsea) so could be worse.

You'd rather Griezemann though for the same money, just because of the players he'd surround himself with... looking a 2008 vibe with Martial, Rashers & Griezers.

He is though.

Great striker but he's not what we need. Martial/Rashford are the future.

He signed a 5 1/2 year deal in February so unless its big big money he wont be leaving spurs.

But I'd always assumed we'd gone for Ibrahimovic to take the pressure off Rashford and Martial. The hope is that Ibra does the business now and in a year or two they become the main men.

It's not working perfectly but I don't think that means we should panic and buy Kane.

To be fair, Rashford isn't going to learn a great deal about being a better centre forward when he is continually being isolated out on the right wing.
