Attacking talent aside, and nobody else in England can really touch them in that respect, City really aren't all that impressive. A number of players coming towards the end of their prime, or some years past it, as in the case of Toure, and a consistent lack of collective organisation and tactical discipline. A lot of work to be done there if they want to become a really top team, capable of dominating the league and seriously competing at European level.

Is that what we've become? It's like a throwback to the days when we were linked with Thomas Graveson and Morst Gamst Pedersen. |

They are going to be extremely active in the transfer market in the coming years. If Guardiola arrives in the summer, I could see them bringing in 6 or 7 players with him. It might well make more sense for them to forget about continuity and instead to form a new group, and have Guardiola work with them, rather than trying to coach a lot of senior players who don't fit his profile and will, most likely, need to be shipped during his tenure anyway. |

They've exploited the broader scandals in UEFA and fifa but, ultimately, the logic of FFP will hit them again. |

Dark days coming if they start signing Aguero/Silva/Toure level players again with a coach like Guardiola. |
