Not being funny but would you really want city on your cv? Following in the hallowed footsteps of Mel Machin and Brian Horton?

No he'll go to City where he has a ready made squad of top players with unlimited funds, like he did at Bayern.

Pep has always wanted to work with Kolarov, Delph, Sagna and Bony imo.

United's squad is already more suited to Pep, both stylistically and in the way they've been trained. He'll need to add a few, though.

And we have more money than them.

Despite what you may think of their defence, the rest of the squad is quite strong.

Besides he'll have a blank chequebook to basically go and sign who he wants. His name alone will attract players who otherwise wouldn't even think about going to City.

Basically, when he goes to City...18 months down the line when we're replacing Van Gaal with Ryan Giggs, we will be royally and utterly £#%&!ed.

We have 2 choices in this scenario.

1. Van Gaal goes and we give the job to Mourinho
2. Van Gaal keeps the job until the summer and we somehow perform a miracle and get pep to come to Old Trafford.

Anything else is going to just prolong this misery.

No, we don't. Not since financial fair play was basically thrown out the window.

It hasn't been. They still need to comply with it.

If United lose out on players/managers to City, it won't be because of finances, pal. We are £#%&!ing loaded.

I'm not too sure about that tbh.

You think Toure and the Fernando twins are playing tiki-taka?

However you slice it, United can afford to pay Guardiola whatever City are set about paying him.

Don't think City's squad is suited to Pep at all tbh, not least because he'll arrive to find most of their squad between 28-33.

Second-oldest average age in the league. United with one of the youngest squads. Spurs the youngest by far - does great credit to Pochettino, I think.

Toure is the wrong side of 30, so are the fullbacks, centre backs are not up to much either.. Good what a billion pound spend over 7 years gets you..

All this talk of Guardiola being so much better than LVG, look at his £#%&!ing squad:

Costa
Ribery
Lewandowski
Robben
Muller
... I could go on.

What exactly is he going to do differently with half the shit@#%&!s we field?

Martial, Depay, and Shaw could be world class but no manager is going to magically develop them overnight. Might as well be Louis. He's already getting the best out of Smalling. De Gea is the only player we have who you'd not swap for anyone.

Rooney is more or less done. Carrick the same, probably Schweinsteiger; the less said about Fellaini, Young and co the better. Mata's shot his bolt.

Herrera

We need a smattering of world class players and Van Gaal has already identified that.

£#%&! off Pep.

Dunno what pep would do with this team but the right thing to do is build your team around your best players and that simply isn't happening here. We don't get the best out of any players.

Seems like we're on a constant cycle of trying to fit Rooney or fellaini into a hole and moving everyone else around them. 4231 is not working.

3-4-1-2 please!
